Hello, my name is Angeline, and I’d like to tell you a little about myself and my work.

I originally studied aerospace engineering and worked as an aerospace engineer. Later, I left that profession to build laser skincare clinics in Toronto and New York. After 18 years in that business and a divorce, I decided to leave that chapter of my life behind, make a fresh start, and create something I felt could genuinely help people learning languages.

As a language learner myself, I often wished I had practical bilingual materials that made learning feel simpler, more enjoyable, more natural, more relevant to everyday life, and less overwhelming. That experience became one of the inspirations behind Learn English Fast®.

My own background has also shaped the way I think about language, culture, and music. I come from Italian and Chinese heritage, and my mother was born and raised in the Philippines. When I was young, I remember visiting the Philippines and seeing my uncle peacefully singing with his karaoke machine on the island where my family grew up. It is a simple memory, but one that has stayed with me. All of our experiences become part of who we are, and perhaps those early memories helped awaken my own love of singing and karaoke.

The Philippines also had an influence on the way I began thinking about language and opportunity. It is a multilingual country where English is widely used alongside Filipino and many regional languages. In my interview, I talk about how English proficiency has helped many people in the Philippines access international companies, online work, and opportunities beyond their local market. It made me wonder whether people in other parts of the world could create similar opportunities by learning English.

So, let’s talk about Learn English Fast®.

Over the years, I met single mothers and families who had to live apart because someone needed to leave home to find work. Many people leave behind their families, communities, and cultures in search of better opportunities, and some even risk their lives crossing borders.

It made me wonder: what if learning English could help people create more opportunities without having to leave their home countries? What if someone could use the skills and talents they already have to work internationally, build something online, or find new opportunities from where they already live?

We are living in a time of AI, online business, remote work, and global communication.

Parents around the world want their children to learn English because they know it can create more opportunities for their future. But I also believe adults can create new opportunities for themselves at any stage of life. Learning English can provide greater access to international markets, remote work, education, business, and new ways to use the skills and talents they already have.

That belief led to the creation of two language-learning brands. The Bilingual Book Company® offers bilingual audiobooks, books, and learning materials for children and language students, helping them begin learning languages from an early age. Learn English Fast® was created for adults, with bilingual audiobooks, bilingual books, learning materials, courses, and music designed to make learning English practical, natural, and less stressful.

My hope is that adults can use English to create more opportunities for themselves, both online and within their own countries, so they can better support their families while remaining connected to the people, communities, and cultures they love.

I also discuss how seeing the role English plays in countries such as the Philippines helped shape my belief that language can give people access to opportunities beyond their borders without necessarily having to leave home.

I originally started writing songs to help people learn English, but over time, creating music became something much deeper and more meaningful in my own life.

I came to see music as a complete art form, bringing together imagination, melody, words, emotion, and cover art. I am very grateful to be able to create my own music and share it with others. Creating music is incredibly special to me and has become one of the most meaningful experiences of my life.

My songs speak to me and remind me of my journey. In some ways, they also connect me to memories that go much further back—to family, childhood, culture, and moments like hearing my uncle sing karaoke in the Philippines. The process of creating music has helped me remember who I am, where I came from, and who I am today. Some days, hearing my own songs and my own voice speak back to me gives me hope when I need it. Sometimes it brings laughter, and sometimes it simply brings back memories.

Whether you are learning English or simply listening to my music, I hope it brings something meaningful to your life, just as creating it has brought something meaningful to mine.
